June 2023 Ceramics Workshop

Design and create your own ceramics. 

All adult pottery classes focus on wheel-throwing techniques and accommodate skill levels from a total beginner to very advanced pottery veteran. Our small group size ensures individual guidance and ample time with the instructor to address any questions our students have. Various throwing projects, glazing, and surface techniques will be explored in all of the classes. Each one of our instructors is prepared to help you with getting started with the very basics or to consult while developing your own individual pottery style. When registering for a pottery class, please choose the class day and time that fits your schedule for the entire session. Details about missed class, make-up policy, and firing fees are below.

We take the safety of our community seriously and during the shutdown, we have installed a new ventilation system, a second sink and reconfigured the layout of the studio to ensure safe distancing. We have also added tables for spacing out hand-building stations so everyone has enough space to do their work without a worry.

Each wheel has its own separated station and a facial mask is required while in the studio.

We can no longer provide shared community tools, towels, or aprons. We will have tool kits for sale at the studio ($15) and we ask that you bring your own apron and towel to class and store those items on your designated shelf.
